What your guests will find tomorrow.
Choose the location of your house and see the official weather warnings that the arrival radar would send to guests on the evening before an arrival. The data comes live from GeoSphere Austria.
The request goes to GeoSphere Austria and contains only the coordinates of the place. Nothing is stored.
How the radar works
One message, but only when there is a reason.
- 01
Arrival day from the booking
The radar knows from your channel manager or PMS who arrives tomorrow.
- 02
Warning situation the evening before
At 5 pm it queries the GeoSphere Austria warnings for the municipality of your house.
- 03
Your notes
For each type of warning you store one sentence: winter equipment, cleared car park, recommended approach.
- 04
Message to the guest
Only when a warning applies, a short, labelled message goes out by WhatsApp or email.
Questions about the radar
Where do the warnings come from?
From GeoSphere Austria, the national weather and geoscience service. It provides the warnings per municipality as open data. This page shows them unchanged, with level, period and text.
What does the arrival radar make of this in operation?
On the evening before each arrival it checks the warning situation for the location of the house and writes to the guest only if a warning applies, adding the house’s notes on the approach. On quiet days nothing happens.
Does it also cover road closures and snow chains?
Not yet as live data. We know of no open interface for the ASFINAG roads; once there is one, it will be added. Until then the message links the traffic service, and the house stores fixed notes on the approach.
Is any data about me stored?
No. The request contains only the coordinates of the chosen place and goes from our server to GeoSphere Austria. No cookie is set and nothing is logged that could be traced back to you.

Which calls does your front desk get in winter?
In a short call, tell us how arrivals work in your house today. We show what radar, guest hub and daily briefing take over.
