AI transparency

We use artificial intelligence where it takes work off our hands, and we say where that is. As of: 09 October 2026.

On this website

• Texts: Drafts for articles and pages may be written with the help of AI models. Every text is checked by a person before publication, editorially owned and revised where needed. No AI draft is published automatically.
• Images: Some photos come from royalty-free image archives, and we generate some cover images for articles with an image model. Such images never show a real house, a real person or an actual event, but a general situation; in our media library they are marked as AI images. We publish photos of our customers’ houses only with their material and consent.
• Chat: There is currently no AI chat on this website.
• Interactive elements: The illuminated facade on the home page is a simulation without real booking data. The commission calculator works with your entries in your browser.

In systems for our customers

The AI concierge discloses that it is an AI at the start of every conversation, carries a permanent notice and points to the transparency page of the respective house. It answers only from approved information and hands over to people when no reliable answer is available. Background at using AI in compliance with the law.

How drafts are checked

Every text written with AI support goes through the same path: research with sources, draft, automatic check for filler phrases, unsupported figures and missing sources, then editorial approval by a person. Figures, quotations and examples come either from named sources or from our own work. Drafts without evidence are not published but put on hold.

What data is processed

For texts on this website we process no personal data. In a house’s AI concierge, the guest’s messages and the approved house information are processed in order to answer the question. Only what is needed for the answer is processed; conversations are not used to train models. Models used

We use language models from Anthropic (Claude) and, for images, a model from Google (Gemini), in each case through the business customer interface. We process personal data there only within the scope of data processing agreements.
